Summer is the greatest time of need for many nonprofits in Charlotte; when needs are high, and supplies are low. So, this year MAB has decided to participate in the SummerSHARECLT campaign which runs from July 10-21.
The campaign is hosted by SHARE Charlotte, a local nonprofit that creates community campaigns that rally Charlotte around socially positive movements. Hundreds of local nonprofits come together to share the critical work they’re doing and why they need everyone’s help.They offer simple ways for neighbors, nonprofits and businesses to come together through good to support our local community.What is SummerSHARE?
SHARE Charlotte’s third annual SummerSHARE, presented by Bank of America, gives need a vacation by encouraging donations of tangible goods Charlotte nonprofits need the most this summer.

In just a few clicks at summershare.org neighbors can easily purchase goods from our SHARE Charlotte Give Shop Wish List. Throughout the course of the campaign SHARE Charlotte will highlight our No. 1 needed item to help tell our story and allow us to continue to DO GOOD in our community.
As you know very well, giving is typically down during the summer months and this is precisely when we need items in the low vision clinic, for patient care and training, and to provide for fall programming!
