Throughout Charlotte, there are more than 80 murals that local and national artists have been adding to the flavor of Uptown, Plaza Midwood, NoDa and other neighborhoods. On April 22, MAB hosted our second descriptive, guided walking tour to experience 9 murals in Plaza Midwood.
Local Artist Sydney Duarte provided details about each of the murals, including one of her own, for 21 participants, including MAB low vision clients and others involved in Charlotte’s low vision and art communities, including The City of Charlotte’s new Arts and Culture Officer, Priya Sircar.
